Together in Christ

The 2025-2026 Theme Team has had stimulating and dynamic dialogue for this year’s ministry theme to be drawn from the weekly Bible passages for Year 4 in the Narrative Lectionary, resulting in the theme above.  

 “Christ” is central to the theme, given the unique opportunity presented by the gospel of John, serving as the foundation for Year 4 of the Narrative Lectionary, focusing on the dimension of Jesus’ identity, which is different from the emphasis in the synoptic gospels.

Our worship dismissal for the year will be “Go in peace, together in Christ. Thanks be to God!” 

Here “Together” intends to encourage us, embolden us and empower us to be sent into the world, knowing that whatever our age, color, sex, politics, and so on …. We go together in Christ, whose infinite, gracious love unites us.
