In Matthew 11:29-30, Jesus said “Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.  For my yoke is easy and my burden light.”  The yoke that Jesus is referring to is understood to be our Christian life.  Once we have assumed Jesus’ yoke, God’s commandments are no longer a heavy burden that weighs us down.  Instead, we see them, by God’s grace, as expressions of God’s will written into our hearts.  To express our gratitude for who God is and what God has done for us, we look for ways to use our lives and resources in God’s service.  For more information about stewardship, please contact Max Buban at maxmbuban82@gmail.com.
