Members of the Barrett, Burton, Roth, Sharp, Warnement, and Wachtman families are currently en route to Kenya for a partnership exchange with the Sikhona Rescue Centre (https://www.sikhonarescuecentre.com/), which supports women and children impacted by gender-based violence (GBV).  In addition to serving at their shelter and sustainable farm where care is provided, the group will undertake a lasting service project: the construction of a Community Signboard in Kitengela, Kenya.  Decorated with tiles and recycled glass similar to the project shown here the signboard will:

  • Provide a safe, public location for Sikhona's online GPS registration
  • Help educate community members on local support services, including Sikhonas programs
  • Create a central, safe & free space for community-led action

How You Can Support:

  • Make a Donation (Thanks to everyone who helped us reach our $2000 goal! Contributions for ongoing work are always welcome and appreciated.)

This project deepens Holy Trinitys four-year relationship with Sikhona, and your support has made a meaningful difference.  You can learn more on the flyer available at Holy Trinity's Welcome Center or by going to https://www.sikhonarescuecentre.com/
