The Neighbor-to-Neighbor Ministry Team plans to attend two events in June to meet our neighbors as an expression of our love for one another across the diversity of the community.  On June 10th, we will carpool from Holy Trinity at 6:15 pm in time to participate in the Interfaith Pride Service being held at 7:00 in the Fran Ryan Center.  Then on June 19th, we will leave from Holy Trinity at 4:45 pm to attend the Juneteenth celebration at First English Lutheran Church that evening.  Please join us to carpool or meet us there.  You are encouraged to invite others.  For more information about either event, please contact Dave Kriska at davidkriska@sbcglobal.net.

Juneteenth Celebration at First English Lutheran Church

First English will host a Juneteenth Celebration on Thursday, June 19th at 5:30 pm.  Everyone’s invited to join them for dinner in the First English Fellowship Hall for a special edition of their Thursday evening community dinner. Following the meal, everyone will gather in the sanctuary at 6:30 with music by James Blackmon and Deb Brown.  The featured speaker will be Rev. Lenny Duncan, author of the book Dear Church - a love letter from a Black Preacher to the Lutheran Church.
