Juneteenth Celebration

This year First English will host a Juneteenth Celebration on Thursday, June 19^th at 5:30 pm.  Join us for dinner in the Fellowship Hall for a special edition of our Thursday evening community dinner. Following the meal, we will celebrate in the sanctuary with music by James Blackmon and Deb Brown. Our featured speaker will be Rev. Lenny Duncan, author of the book Dear Church - a love letter from a Black Preacher to the Lutheran Church. Lenny is an author, public speaker and media producer working at the forefront of racial justice in America.
