Harvesting Hope

On Wednesday, September 23 at 7:00 pm, everyone's invited to meet Dr. Angelique Khalifa - toxicologist, author, and living proof that where you start does not determine where you finish.  

Dr. Angelique Khalifa grew up in a small farming village in Rwanda, where medical care was scarce and the odds were stacked against her. Through education, determination, and an unshakeable belief in what was possible, she rose to become a global scientist - today serving as Director of Discovery and Investigative Toxicology at Eli Lilly.

Her memoir, Harvesting Hope, tells that journey: surviving hardship, chasing an education against every obstacle, and refusing to let her beginnings define her future.
