Using Karoline Lewis’s book Belonging as a guide for our Lenten practice this year, we will be working with the book one chapter at a time, dealing this week with the Introduction and Chapter One on Discomfort.
Below are the conversation prompts to be used during lunch or whenever you choose to engage with the online recording at home:
Who is your “go to” person in the Bible or at least one of them?
What is it about this person that rings true for you?
What characteristics to you generally associate with discipleship?
We enjoyed our first edition of Table Church conversation on Wednesday around the first key to discipleship from Belonging: Discomfort. Materials are attached below for you to participate in your own time and place: service video, worship bulletin, PowerPoint slides, and prayer practice guide. Or consider joining us next Wednesday
I’m praying that our focus on “Belonging” deepens and emboldens our faith together. Please reach out with any questions or impressions you might have. I’ll be glad to correspond with anyone throughout the season.
