Steve Wachtman
Pastor
Husband to Melea and father to daughters Annika, Elli and Adrienne, I have been blessed to serve as Pastor at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church since 1992, where I focus on building community guided by Christ's unconditional love for all people. Graduating from Capital University in 1985 with degrees in computer science and psychology, I worked three years as a computer consultant at Battelle Memorial Institute before pursuing my Master of Divinity degree at Trinity Lutheran Seminary including an internship at Trinity Lutheran Church in Frankfurt, Germany.  I was ordained on June 7, 1992.
 
Joshua Brodbeck
Minister of Music and Artist-in-Residence
Joshua Brodbeck is an American organist who maintains an active recital schedule.  At the age of nine, Mr. Brodbeck performed his first concert in the United States. He made his international debut at the age of 12 playing for an organ dedication in Slovenia, Europe. Throughout his brief career, Mr. Brodbeck is known, and is commended for his varied programs that please audiences everywhere.  Recent engagements have included tours in Germany, Switzerland, and the Czech Republic, with other engagements taking place in the United States.

Mr. Brodbeck began his studies at Bluffton University at the age of 12 with Dr. Stephen Jacoby. After graduating high school, Mr. Brodbeck studied at the Capital University Conservatory of Music as well as the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University with international concert organist Todd Wilson. Throughout his time studying, he won first prize in many competitions including the American Guild of Organist’s Young Artist Competition.  Since graduating, Mr. Brodbeck has had coaching sessions with Mr. Paul Jacobs of the Juilliard School of Music and Dame Gillian Weir of the United Kingdom.

Currently, Mr. Brodbeck is the Minister of Music and Artist-in-Residence at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Columbus, Ohio. In this role, he oversees the entire music program and concert series. Mr. Brodbeck is also the Artistic Director for the Delaware Community Chorus and Chief Operating Officer for the Southern Ohio Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. 

Laura Hudson
Director for Equipping Ministers
Laura graduated from Capital University with a degree in Communications.  After working in the corporate world for the better part of two decades, she began serving in 2004 as Holy Trinity’s Director for Equipping Ministers, helping people explore their spiritual gifts and connecting them with ministry opportunities.  In 2006, Administrator duties were added to Laura’s role description giving her responsibility for much of the church’s print and electronic communications as well as overseeing volunteers.  Laura and her husband Tim are the parents of adult children, Josh and Rachel.

Noelle Fox
Director of Faith Formation
Noelle’s life and career have always involved collaborating with others and fostering relationships.  She spent twenty-two years in public education teaching elementary students.  Serving as the Director of Faith Formation Ministries has allowed her to provide opportunities for children and adults to grow in faith as we love and serve God together.  She loves to learn and is currently enrolled as a student at Trinity Lutheran Seminary at Capital University.  Noelle and her husband, Matt, have three children- Ben, Madeline, and Noah.
Molly Capuano
Child Development Program Co-Director
Molly graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University with a degree in Elementary Education and taught in the primary grades. After a blissful time at home with her three (now grown) children Chloe, Carter, and Connor, Molly joined the Child Development preschool staff in 2005. She took on the role of Co-Director with Jackie Newlon in 2023. Molly loves her continued teaching time in the Panda class and her work with Jackie, ensuring the daily and lasting success of the Child Development program.

Jackie Newlon
Child Development Program Co-Director
Jackie received a degree in Elementary Education from Miami University and taught first grade before staying home to raise her children. Jackie joined the Child Development staff in 2013 and taught in the pre-k classroom. In 2023, Jackie joined Molly Capuano in the role of Co-Director where together they love ensuring the daily success and prosperity of the program. 

Jackie and her husband, Mike are parents to three grown children, Abigail, Adam and Ryan.
